CRAWFORD MILTON
Born 1881 in Georgia
Died: 1991 (age 110)
Milton advocated for a woman’s right to vote. She was the
“Tennessee League of Women Voters” first president. In 1924 Abby, along with
her step-son, managed the Chattanooga News until the 1930s. She spent her later years writing.
